Grow, Glow, Repeat: The Power of Investing in Yourself 📈🌟🔁

Growth isn’t something you can avoid. 📈Some aspect of yourself is bound to grow, whether it’s physically, mentally, intellectually, financially, professionally, socially, spiritually, or whatever other category you can think of. It’s not always the most comfortable thing to do, but when it’s all said & done, growth is a beautiful thing. What’s even more beautiful: the ability to grow, glow, repeat. 🏆

There is no glow up without the grow up, but that requires self-investment. You have to have a vision. 🔮 With that vision, a plan has to be put in place. Putting feet to pavement to execute that plan is the only way to create moving forward, & if &/or when the plan fails, you rethink, reset, & redo. And Intentional has what you need to shine bright during your quest to elevating.

Grow, Glow, Repeat Step 1: The Vision 👁️

Every idea starts with a dream. 💭 You envision yourself doing, saying, or being something different, something greater than who & what you are now. If it’s something you want badly enough, you may begin to repetitively ruminate on it. No matter where you are, who you’re with, or when it is, that thought is locked into your mind. You won’t be able to escape it.

The dreamy Pisces woman I am has had sooooooo many ideas flow through my mind. ♓️ I’m not sure there’s much I haven’t thought about in some way. My brain is constantly racing, the creativity flows, & I go into go-mode. It’s so bad I had to start backing up my notes from my phone because I randomly will jot things down in the app so I don’t forget them.

There’s nothing wrong with being imaginative. It’s a great characteristic to have, especially since it pairs great with creativity. This is usually where I get stuck. If the creativity has taken a hiatus, there’s nothing I can do to force myself to make 💩 happen.

This is the main reason Intentional products have space to unload your thoughts, dreams, & visions daily. Our Adult Planner starts off with a vision board. You can break your vision down by category. It allows you the opportunity to speak things into existence. It’s exactly what you need to stay on track to achieve your vision. 🔮

Grow, Glow, Repeat Step 2: The Plan 🗺️

After you get your vision together, it’s time to set a plan.  Intentional Planners & Journals are exactly what’s needed to break your plan down into achievable steps. 📚 You can set goals for the next day in your journal. Then grab your planner and map out times for you to complete the steps. Each day you can see your progress.

When you brainstorm your steps, our planners allow you to form your goals in S.M.A.R.T. goal format. This ensures that each goal is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, or relevant, & time specific. Using this format makes things seem a little less stressful, and easier to complete. You can break your vision down into monthly, weekly, & daily goals. 🗓️ You can even block off time in 30-minute increments so you ensure you allot enough time to get things done.

Intentional Journals supplement the Planners. Positive affirmations remind you of how great you are so you can keep the motivation flowing. Each day, there’s a different statement to remind you to stay the course. They have plenty of space to spill your ideas from your head to the pages. 📝 Small sections for lessons & gratitude help you to reflect on what you encountered during the day & to reinforce your determination to conquer what you set out to do. Additionally, you’ll be well prepared for the next day when you set up to 3 goals to work on towards your big vision for the year.

Trying to achieve a goal without a plan is like driving somewhere you’ve never been without directions. 🧭 Nobody wants to appear to be lost, much less actually be lost. That’s why it’s important for you to really think about what your goals are & what it’s going to take to achieve them.

By using our journals and planners, you can set your annual goals, break them down in some monthly goals, & assign tasks to complete daily or weekly towards achieving your goals. Your journal will be a place to track your progress, let out your frustrations in a healthy way, & celebrate your wins. 🎉👏 We aim for our products to help you live a more stress-free life. Work-life balance is important & should be prioritized.

Grow, Glow, Repeat Step 3: Growing Pains 🌱

With goals comes growth. It’s just not something you can avoid doing. Whether you’re mastering your steps & moving closer to achieving your goals or experiencing setbacks & trying to figure out your next action plan, both allow you to grow. Everyone makes mistakes; it’s just up to us to decide whether they will be motivators or deflators. 💯 Only you can decide which way to go.

I have experienced a lot of growing in the 4 1/2 decades of my life. I didn’t always understand how my mistakes were also contributing to my growth. Boy was I wrong! Wins & losses both teach you ways to grow. Your wins should be celebrated & catapult you to go harder & achieve more. 🙌 On the other hand, your losses & mistakes set the stage for you to go back to the drawing board & redo your plan. There’s always room for growth. No one is immune to it.

You can view your achievements & setbacks like this:

Grow, Glow, Repeat Step 4: Can’t Stop Won’t Stop 🔁

Aaliyah said it best: “if at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off & try again.” 🔁 There’s no rule that you stop when things don’t go your way, but that’s also true for the opposite. Like I said earlier, there’s always room for growth. You just keep swimming. 🏊🏽‍♀️ After all, setbacks are delays, not denials! Keep going, my people!
